At Barkers, I work across all industries, but I have a particular specialty passion for childcare businesses. With owning multiple childcares myself, I know the realities behind the numbers. Staffing, occupancy, compliance, growth, profitability, parent relationships, I understand the moving parts because I've dealt with them firsthand.
With more than 15 years of experience in sales, negotiation, and business leadership, including international management roles, I've learned that every successful deal starts with understanding people. Businesses are bought and sold on numbers, but deals are done between people. My role is to help both parties navigate the journey and create outcomes that work for everyone involved.
One thing I've learned throughout my career is that a great business isn't built by accident and neither is a great exit. Outside of work, you'll usually find me trying to tame a golf swing that has a mind of its own, battling it out on the tennis court, enjoying live music or spending time with my family.
