Scooterbitz was established in 2010 and has been a leading retailer in scooter parts since. We have owned it for 10 years and seen growth in the business. We have been more focused stocking top brands such as Apex, River, Proto, Tilt, Hella Grip and others. We stock both the complete scooters and all of the parts needed to customise it. Initially just an online store, in 2018 we opened our mobile store and it has operated most weekend since.
Scootering is still growing with more people taking up riding and we are seeing more riders come back to it in their twenties. There are opportunities to expand the product range to include a wider selection of brands and a broader selection of parts options. Expansion could also come from commuter scooters, dirt scooters and snow scooters.
Equally expansion could come with expanding into the Skateboard and/or BMX markets.
The business is easy to operate using a Shopify based online store and the trailer based mobile store is easy to setup. The business could be easily relocated, we moved it from the North Island an we can help with relocating it.
Business Resources
The Shopify based store is already running and will be handed over as will all social media channels. I can provide some support to get you started (depending location). The trailer based mobile shop can be delivered to you (some costs may be charged depending on the location). The trailer is setup with everything you need. It is possible to buy just the online store and I will dispose of the trailer separately.
